Santa Isabel :-)

A few kms into todays stage I ran through the small city Santa Isabel, who recently celebrated its 100y. aniversary. At first sight its little more than a dusty mainstreet and a few motels & tiny shops spread along it. But it grows in charm upon getting to know it, I am sure :-) .. The next 3 days we will have it as our base while I head out to run into the next region, "Pampas de la Varita".

Besides a chance to better get to know this 'steppingstone' between hundreds of km of open landscape, then its also out of need: I have been lacking energy in the running and a bit of "inside accomodation" might be a wise strategy !

Nb: Pictures and gps-track will be uploaded as soon as I have datasignal. Probably at the first big city, General Alvear, which I hope to reach 20. March.
